NC Participatory Science Network

2022 NC Participatory Science Network Event

FRIDAY MAY 27, 11am-2:00pm

REGISTER

The Cooper Public Science Lab at NC State University and 12 sponsoring partners are organizing a free outdoor lunch meeting, old-fashioned style: in-person, with no electricity, no wifi, and no computers needed. The event will be Friday May 27, 11am – 2:00pm at Lake Crabtree County Park, Morrisville, NC. Attendance will be capped at 50. Lunch provided. The event is a local culmination of the 2022 C*Sci Conference of the Citizen Science Association (which is May 23-26). This networking event will bring together people across sectors (government, nonprofit, education, community members) who organize around citizen and community science. The purpose of the regional event is to build connections and identify areas of common interest, needs, and future goals across sectors that could be met by establishing a Participatory Science Network for North Carolina.
